The Story and Inspiration
Based on a story I read in a book, "The Wise Man's Fear" by Patrick Rothfuss. One of the characters tells a story about a boy who wanted the moon and only the moon. He travels to the end of the earth searching for the name of the moon and thus having power over her.
I wanted to do something that had a similar feeling to the story but with my own flavour behind it.
So instead of finding the name of the moon and gaining power over her, he instead tore down the whole night sky...the consequences of his actions? Well you might have to wait and see...
The Making of I wanted the moon
I hate the tail...then again I always hate my tails XD I didn't think I was actually going to be able to do this in any semblance to what was in my head...but I'm actually pretty happy with how the whole thing turned out!
I discovered something doing this...I looked at a heap of tutorials...background tuts, mane tuts etc and tried to do what they said but they never worked...in the end just doing my own thing and being patient with myself was what achieved the best result. So here's for doing your own thing!

Time taken: 2 solid days (minus sleep and suches) and a scattering of hours.
